A Passion and A Passport! <– yes, that’s me! (and yes, I know the Oscars were last week…or the week before…)

Wow my third liebster blog award! Who knew that in less than two months of getting back into the blogging world, people would actually read my blog! You must think I’m pretty crazy accepting 3 of these bad boys, but I find them rather fun. Plus, it gives me something to do on the subway.

So what is this liebster thing I’m talking about? My first Liebster post explains everything.

Without further ado, here are yet another 11 random facts about me. And if you’ve simply had enough of me, I totally understand.

11 Things:

1) Im a brand new auntie! The little bundle of joy was just born last week! Aunt Jessica, still haven’t gotten used to it yet. Can’t wait to meet this little boy!

2) Booked a spring break trip to New Orleans today! Cant wait to feed those gators!

3) I have a thing for sweets, if I see it, ill eat it. No self control for this girl.

4) I recently started taking zumba classes and now i actually look forward to going to the gym. Something I never thought I would be saying…

5) Cigarette smoking, littering, and spitting disgusts me. Big time. Oh, and so does wasting food. People out there are hungry.. something you see every day being from NYC.

6) Im determined to finish the Harry Potter series before June 26, my students last day of school. 3 1/2 more books to go… each around 700/800 pages… No spoilers here!

7) I still watch Say Yes to the Dress, 4 Weddings, and My Fair Wedding… even though my wedding was almost a year ago. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I’m in love with my wedding dress, and would wear it every day of the week if that was socially acceptable.

8) I moved into my apartment about a year and a half ago, and I still haven’t finished decorating. It’s quite sad, I bought frames and all that jazz, but they are still sitting in our second bedroom storage room. Maybe I’ll get to it someday.

9) I got married over 9 months ago, and still haven’t designed my wedding album. In the process though, and I think it’s almost finished! Really excited for the finished product!

10) I write down one sentence each and every day about my day, in a neat little book called The Happiness Project, One Sentence Journal. Check it out, its pretty neat. And Q&A: 365 questions, 5 years, 1,825 answers.

11) And lastly, im writing this list on the subway to work at 5:30am, and the people watching is at its best today. There is a girl popping her boyfriends pimples… don’t ask, I’ve seen it all on the subway in NYC. I should write a post about that sometime.

My answers to Sam’s questions:

1. What one word sums you up?

Laid back. Ok, so it’s technically two words, but one thought. Kill me.

2. Where would your dream destination be?

Turkey. South Africa. Iceland. Oh, and Bora Bora. Wait, I can only pick one?!?!

3. If you could only eat 1 type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Hm, super hard question because I like so much. If I HAD to choose, I guess I would pick italian. I love me some fresh bucatini.

4. Give me 3 things on your bucketlist…

Go zorbing in New Zealand.

Ride in a hot hair balloon in Capadoccia, Turkey.

See the Northern Lights in Iceland.

5. What is your favourite chocolate bar?

It’s a toss up between Twix, Milky Way, and chocolate covered cherries (if those count).

6. If you could speak a new language, fluently, what would it be?

Most likely Italian. I just think its such a beautiful language.

7. What mode of transport do you prefer to travel by?

Plane for long distance, and boat for traveling between islands.

8. What is the first song your Travel playlist?

Hm, don’t currently have one. Guess a travel playlist is a good idea. Maybe I’ll make once for Hawaii later.

9. What would be your dream job?

A travel photographer, or a cupcake tester.

10. How many continents have you visited?

Sadly, just 2. Good ‘ol US of A, and Europe. Hoping to change this soon, though!

11. What one thing would you like to accomplish in 2013?

Figure out how to truly be happy without being able to travel as much as I would like. This has been way more difficult than it seems…
